Terms of Use
Last updated 7 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Flutterboots Services LLP, Hubballi, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”) for using the Grozaak app and this website (together, “Grozaak”). By creating an account or using Grozaak you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Grozaak.
1. What Grozaak is
Grozaak helps a household keep track of the food it has, reminds it to use that food in time, keeps a shared shopping list, and reports on what was used and what was thrown away.
2. Food safety: please read this
Grozaak is a reminder tool. It is not food safety advice.
- The dates in the app are the ones you enter, or estimates based on the kind of food. An estimate is a rough guide, not a statement that food is safe to eat.
- Product details come from barcodes, a public database, other users and an artificial intelligence service. Any of them can be wrong or out of date.
- A reminder may arrive late or not at all, for example if notifications are switched off or your phone is offline.
Always check the pack, follow its storage instructions and use-by date, and use your own judgement about whether food is safe. If you are in doubt, do not eat it. Do not rely on Grozaak for allergy or dietary information.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
- Give an email address that is yours, and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
4. Kitchens and sharing
A kitchen is shared by everyone who joins it. Anyone with your invite link or code can join and will see and be able to change what is in it, so share it only with people you live with or trust. The owner of a kitchen can make a new invite code, which stops the old one working. We are not responsible for what other members of your kitchen add, change or remove.
5. What you put into Grozaak
What you add to your kitchen is yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the other members of your kitchen, which is what running the app requires.
When you type in the details of a product whose barcode is not yet known, the name, brand and category you give are added to a product list shared with all Grozaak users. You give us permission to keep and show that entry to others indefinitely, including after you delete your account. Enter only accurate product details there, and nothing personal, offensive or unlawful.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Grozaak for anything unlawful;
- try to access a kitchen or account that is not yours, or guess invite codes;
- add false or misleading entries to the shared product list;
- overload, probe, scrape or interfere with the service, or get around its limits;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
7. Product information from others
Some product information comes from Open Food Facts, which is made available under the Open Database License. Suggestions when you search by name are produced by an artificial intelligence service and may be inaccurate. Check anything that matters to you against the pack.
8. Reports and figures
The reports in the app, such as the value of food thrown away, are worked out from what the members of your kitchen enter. They are for your information only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
9. Price and subscriptions
Grozaak is free to download and to use. Some features need a subscription, which is US$9.99 a month or US$39.99 a year. The price in your country and currency, including any tax, is shown in the app before you buy, and that is the price you pay.
- Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google through your App Store or Google Play account, not by us.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel it.
- To stop a renewal, cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. You keep the paid features until then. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and by any right to a refund the law where you live gives you.
- We may change the price. A new price applies only from your next renewal, and you will be told beforehand so you can cancel.
10. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or stop Grozaak. We try to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that what you have stored will never be lost.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Grozaak at any time and delete your account from the app’s Settings. What happens to your information then is described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Grozaak or other people at risk.
12. Our rights in Grozaak
The app, this website, the Grozaak name and logo, and everything in them other than what users add belong to us or to those who license them to us. These terms let you use Grozaak for your own household. They do not give you any other rights in it.
13. No warranty
Grozaak is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what is written in these terms, including any implied promise that it is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.
14. Limit of our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for loss or harm that results from food being eaten, kept or thrown away in reliance on Grozaak. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
15. Apple and Google
If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and the store’s own terms also apply to your use of the app. The following applies to the app downloaded from the App Store, and Google is in the same position for the app downloaded from Google Play:
- You may use the app only on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store’s usage rules allow.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and what is in it.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. For help, write to us at support@flutterboots.com.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for the app, if anything. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim about the app, including product liability, a failure to meet a legal requirement, consumer protection or privacy law, and any claim that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States Government embargo or one it has designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in.
17. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Grozaak after that means you accept the new terms.
